The head office of the online retail giant has been sold in an almost £ 40million deal

The Very Group head office near Liverpool was sold for around £ 40million.

Fiera Real Estate has announced the sale of its 11.5-acre Skyways House site to Speke to Corum XL, a fund managed by Corum Asset Management.

The property was offered to the market for £ 38.88million, but the final sale price was not disclosed.

The building consists of three units totaling 194,384 square feet and is leased to Shop Direct Home Shopping.

The building also houses the head office of The Very Group, which created the and Littlewoods brands.
