New Hampshire real estate listing adds Michael Myers to photos

A local New Hampshire real estate professional caught the attention of thousands by including a special guest on his recent listing.

While the home that Tommy Bolduc has listed in Weare, NH looks charming at first glance, upon closer inspection there’s a spooky addition sprinkled throughout the photos: a person dressed as iconic horror character Michael Myers.

In the dozens of photos shared on the list, the “Halloween” villain appears in every image, with some appearances more obvious than others.

Bolduc told TODAY over the phone that the idea for the roster was a collaboration between him and the sellers, adding that they had unanimously decided that Myers would be the top horror icon to add to the roster.

“It’s a perfect season and me and my vendors thought it would be a fun way to make people laugh,” he explained.

“It’s the first time I’ve done something like this and partly because my salespeople have a great sense of humor,” Bolduc continued. “It can be a risk. You don’t want to do something humorous as a real estate professional and cause your sellers to be skeptical of you and not trust the process. But I have great sellers in this case for this property and they also have a great sense of humor. So they were totally on board.

They decided to place Myers in several areas of the house, including the bedrooms, the kitchen, the basement, and even the chicken coop.

“It was awesome taking these photos,” Buldoc said, explaining that they wanted to get creative. “Some of them are sneaky, you have to look for it… Others, (it’s) blatant where it is.”

One of these most obvious images shows Myers lying on a bed with his legs crossed and his chin resting on his hands.

The list was published on Friday, September 30, and Bolduc said it had already been viewed 70,000 times. This popularity continued at an open house on October 1.

“It went viral on social media, all the different local Facebook platforms,” he said. “I have friends, family, colleagues, co-brokers that I don’t even know who email and text me saying they think this is hilarious. And so people from all walks of my life have reached out…People are taking advantage of it.

“The feedback has been almost unanimously positive,” he said of the reactions he received personally and on the internet. “I think people think it’s a riot. Sometimes we can’t take ourselves too seriously and have to have a good time.”
