Mary J. Blige NJ House for Sale Real Estate Listing

Singer Mary J. Blige was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year. She has won nine Grammy Awards, been nominated for an Oscar, and has sold over 100 million records.

Still, real estate transactions have not been kind to her.

In 2008, she purchased a 13,000 square foot mansion in Saddle River. She spent a decade trying to sell it and it eventually sold in 2020 for $ 5.5 million, a loss of almost $ 7 million.

Then there is this one.

She still owns a house in Cresskill. This is another mansion, with over 7,000 square feet. The description sounds incredible: six bedrooms, eight full baths, two half baths, three fireplaces. Guest quarters. Has its own gym.

But nobody wants it.

It has been for sale for two and a half years. No takers. Why? Well tell me if you are suspicious of a property advertised where none of the photos show the interior of the house. Looked.

On Zillow.com, there is this single photo of the exterior of the house.

Here is all that follows.

Yes, only pictures to show that the house is in Cresskill. Mary J. Blige’s house is said to have fallen into disrepair. Something you always suspect when the seller doesn’t want to show you pictures. But not what you would expect from a property they are asking for $ 3 million for.

The craziest thing is that it first hit the market in the summer of 2019 for a demand of $ 2.25 million. Then, in mid-2021, without a taker, it raised the price to $ 2.75 million. Again no takers. In October, the price was increased again to $ 3 million, where it remains today.

Not sure she understands the concept of supply and demand.
