The HGTV Ultimate House Hunt 2021 has selected a local real estate ad as the winner.
Sarasota-based real estate agent Barbara Sassen May of Michael Saunders and Co. represented the listing on Lido Key. The month-long online promotion took place on HGTV.com and featured a number of real estate listings.
The promotion garnered over 1.5 million votes which determined the winners among 66 finalists across eight categories, including:

- Houses by the sea
- Retreats in the countryside
- Curb appeal
- Housing in the city center
- Houses with a story
- Outdoor getaways
- Waterfront houses
The Michael Saunders and Co. list received the most votes in the Waterside Homes category. The British West Indies designed home, built in 2013, is located in Sarasota, overlooking the Gulf of Mexico off Lido Shores. The house, according to a statement, has private beach access, two master suites, a gourmet kitchen, an outdoor kitchen and a dining area, as well as a separate wing for guests. . Waterfront access includes a private dock, boat lift and double-jet ski lift.
