Farrah Aldjufrie’s Chateau Marmont Real Estate Listing Los Angeles

UPDATE: After several months on the market, Farrah Aldjufrie has just revealed a fun fact…this house was previously owned by actor James Franco! Adding to the Hollywood glitz the property already embodies, the news comes as the price has dropped by $750,000. Yes, you can now own Franco’s former home for $5.5 million.

The original story continues below…

Kyle Richards’ daughter, Farrah Aldjufrie, works with Kyle’s husband, Mauricio Umansky, as a real estate broker at The Agency, and the two just announced the drop in real estate listings: an extraordinary property just steps from the Sunset Strip Los Angeles anime that’s asking for $6.25 million.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills daughter (who moved into a beautiful new home that she decorated herself last fall) represents a property on Marmont Lane which is directly opposite Chateau Marmont – you know, the resort hideaway that’s been a celebrity haunt for decades? Impossible to get in, Chateau Marmont is pretty much exclusive as it can be in LA…but we bet living across the street would help with the doorman.

Let’s get into some of the amazing details of the house, shall we?

Outside

This four-bedroom, five-bathroom, 5,215-square-foot home was built nearly 100 years ago, boasting Old Hollywood charm, mature shade trees, and manicured lush grounds.

Outdoor kitchen and dining room

While you can just walk across the street to eat at the Chateau (including the superb new Japanese restaurant Chateau Hanare), one of the real highlights of this property is that alfresco kitchen and dining area, which is likely to be used more than the (equally breathtaking) indoor kitchen during those warm Southern California months.

Salon

Huge windows and French doors can extend the feeling of lavish space in the living room.

Kitchen and dining room

The kitchen, fitted with an expensive La Cornue stove, was designed with chefs in mind, with a dining area that can be dressed up or down at the ready.

Main bathroom

The master bath is adorned in 19th century marble opulence, with a tub that seems to last for days. This is tranquility defined.
