Key Biscayne’s residential real estate market was very active during the October 10-14 period, with seven transactions completed, five of which were in the seven digits.

The top-selling property was a 5,179-square-foot, six-bedroom Mediterranean home on Mashta Island. It sold for a whopping $6,632,500.

In the Brickell luxury condo market, the trend of transactions closing below the asking price continued in the fourth quarter. The thriving, upscale urban neighborhood now has a median rent of around $6,500.

So, investors looking for a long-term investment can consider getting in on the action.
