A-Rod acquires another property

(NEW YORK, NY) –In June, retired baseball icon Alex Rodriguez faced a new game with real estate agent Barbara Corcoran.

A-Rod announced his decision to acquire real estate in the Big Apple alongside the Shark aquarium investor. The duo had previously purchased a location they claimed was generating “immediate returns”. Rodriguez had also purchased a 21-unit rental property in the East Village.

Rodriguez is now taking another hit in the real estate game, according to the New York Post he bought a second apartment building. The Post reported that the new location taken by A-Rod is in the Turtle Bay area, near the United Nations and Sutton Place.

The former New York Yankee didn’t team up with Corcoran this time around, in fact his new partners include real estate investor Ofer Yardeni of Stonehenge and broker Adam Modlin of the Modlin Group.

The Turtle Bay residence called Allen House (340 East 51st Street) is a 114 unit apartment building built in 1965. Rodriguez and his team plan to completely renovate the apartments. As for the building, it will be renamed with the name Stongehenge included, “Stonehenge Flex” apartment units which will come furnished, and the possibility of adding a fitness center.

The team paid less than $ 100 million for the property.
